Refunds and Cancellations

How cancellation quotes, refunds, and payment returns work.

This page explains what happens when a booking is cancelled, how refund amounts are confirmed, and what a traveler should expect after the cancellation is accepted.

This policy follows the current Booking Manager and manual refund handling flow in the codebase.

Live quote

Booking Manager can request a cancellation quote before you commit to the action.

Confirmed amount

The confirmed refund amount is based on the airline response and the fare rules attached to the booking.

Payment return

Where a refund is due, it is generally returned to the original payment card after processing begins.

Cancellation rules

Cancellation availability is determined by the airline and the fare conditions attached to your booking. Some fares can be cancelled, some can only be changed, and some are non-refundable.

A cancellation becomes final only after you confirm the cancellation action and the airline or provider accepts it. If you leave the flow before confirmation, the booking may remain active.

Cancellation quotes

When supported, Booking Manager can request a live cancellation quote before you confirm a cancellation. That quote reflects the refund amount available at that moment based on airline response and fare rules.

A cancellation quote can differ from the amount you originally paid because airline penalties, fare restrictions, prior changes, or non-refundable service amounts may apply.

Confirmed refunds and processing

If you confirm a supported cancellation, Travnexa records the confirmed refund amount shown by the airline or provider.

A successful cancellation confirmation does not always mean the refund has already been processed at that same moment. In the current Travnexa flow, refund processing can follow after operational review or manual handling.

Card refund timing

Once a refund has been processed, most card refunds appear within 5 to 10 business days. Timing can vary by bank, card network, and payment provider processing.

Changes, non-refundable amounts, and follow-up

If you change a booking, the new total may increase or decrease based on live fare difference, airline fees, or provider costs. A later cancellation refund may therefore reflect the full booking history, not only the original booking amount.

Some parts of a transaction may be non-refundable depending on the fare, airline rule, or service structure. If that applies, the confirmed refund quote should reflect the refundable amount rather than the full amount originally paid.

If you need help with a refund, Booking Manager is the first place to check the latest booking and refund status available to us. If something looks wrong, contact us and include your booking reference.

We may update this Refunds and Cancellations policy at any time to reflect product changes, legal requirements, provider changes, or operational needs. The latest version published on this page will apply to future use of the service.
